Coree Beijing has won awards at the 2023 Indigo Design Award for its Runermei Formula packaging design, Guhan Special Ginseng Gift Set packaging design and Oat Ofmom packaging design. The Runermei Powder Packaging Design and Guhan Special Ginseng Gift Set packaging design won the Silver Award in the category of package design, and the Oatmilk packaging design won the Bronze Award.
Established in 2018, the Indigo Design Awards is open to individual designers, design teams, design studios, and students from across the world. Each year, the awards solicits excellent visual designs globally to promote creativity, showcase unique projects in graphic design, digital, mobile, brand and social change design, and strive to introduce advanced and meaningful design works to the public. As a result, the Indigo Design Awards has a strong presence in the industry.
A total of 48 top creative designers, who are internationally renowned, including Pip Jamieson, founder of The Dots, Jeroen Van Erden, logo and brand expert, and Jack Morgan, designer of Google and Duolingo, formed the judging panel. This year, Coree Beijing’s entries have been recognised for the quality of the design and the in-depth interpretation of the product philosophy.
The Runermei Formula packaging design adopts high saturation colour as the main colour, meaning ‘health’, ‘environmental protection’ and ‘nutrition’. The Runermei Formula series incorporates the letter ‘O’ as the main element, combining flowers and rhizomes to convey the brand’s reliability and freshness.
The Guhan Special Ginseng Gift Set packaging design showcases a harmonious blend of the package structure and the product concept. Every detail of design reflects the company’s meticulous quality control, user-oriented design and user-experiences. The black matte material of the box arouses a profound cultural legacy accumulated over millennia. Opening the lid reveals a whole piece of ginseng covered by transparent packaging, ensuring to protect from contamination. The back of the box features annals of ginseng, adding to the message of “Leading to a beautiful life”. The ginseng is placed on the top layer, while ginseng syrups are arrayed on the bottom layer. Although separated, they formed a unified whole, representing how time records the footsteps of history and the essence of civilisation is passed down to future generations.
The Oat Ofmom packaging design adopts an ivory colour and creamy texture to depict the flavour of nuts and oats. Coree Beijing also incorporated the product concept of ‘being a representative oat milk in Korea’ into the design.
“Our life inspires designs, and every detail contributes to the quality.” Coree Beijing will continue to uphold the principle of expertise and responsibility, adhere to technological innovation and aesthetic design, and provide better service and user experience.
